ResponderEliminardear Odeon, simple advice from retired publishing house veteran:
ResponderEliminarto avoid appearing moire in scanned prints, don't put them on flatbed scanner in parallel to scanner rims. rotate the print 15° clockwise instead, and then scan. and after scanning it, rotate the obtained image back (i.e. 15° counter-clockwise).
15° is half of the angular shift between basic dots direction in CMYK colour-separated typographic plates. this simple trick helps to avoid moire in your scans.
Thanks, Odeon! I hope you understand that simple trick above, I found it very interesting but understood few parts...I'll try later using a dictionary for translation.
